The Eco Soil Inquiry unit incorporates four interdisciplinary lessons to fully explore soil and engage students across science, math, English language arts, and art. Upon completing the unit, students will be able to:

• Define the main components that make up soil using the acronym WAMO

• Discuss humans’ relationship to soil and its importance to life on earth
