Rosemary grew up in the Siuslaw headwaters, which inspired a career devoted to studying and stewarding rivers. As Executive Director of the SWC, Rosemary works with the board and staff to develop and implement restoration and community programming, and serves as the Chair of the Siuslaw Coho Partnership. Before coming to the SWC, Rosemary worked on field crews conducting hydrological surveys in remote watersheds across the Pacific Northwest and Montana. For her master’s degree, she compared various biodiversity conservation strategies across the western U.S. In 2021, Rosemary completed a PhD studying watershed hydrology in the Oregon Coast Range. In her spare time, she enjoys whitewater rafting, gardening, and small building projects.
