The ECO Beaver Adaptations Unit incorporates four interdisciplinary lessons to fully explore beaver adaptations and engage students across English language arts, social science, and art. Upon completing the unit, students will be able to:
-Define, explain, and communicate information about the American beaver and its physical and behavioral adaptations
-Develop an understanding of the role of the American beaver in the Pacific Northwest habitats such as wetlands, forests, meadows, and river systems
